Hi. I am really really interested to find out too. I am the same like you - expat living in the UK and would save up around 700 a year with them... Did you end up insuring your car with them or someone else? And if you did go for Clements, was the process of receiving all your paperwork and everything smooth?
Hi, I am currently with Clements and am really happy so far. However, I am currently worried as I have been recently fined and penalized for Ts10 violation in the UK and due to receive 3 points. Not quite sure if I have to inform Clements of it and what would be the effect on my premium
You will need to let Clements know immediately if you have received a motoring conviction. In most cases it will not affect your price (if this does happen), until your policy is due for renewal. However, you should let them know straight away just in case it is something they need to know about now.
I hope this helps.
I sold my car a month ago and bought another one, I sent two emails to clements asking them to change the police to the new car and they didn ́t answer so i decided to cancel the old one and make a new one. I did that by their website and they sent me an email saying i would receive another email "You will receive an email with your refund details within 7-10 business days". This was last 21 January and I haven ́t received anything yet, I sent them another email last week and they didn ́t answer and I ́m now paying for both insurances... I don ́t know what to do!! I ́m paying an insurance for a car I don ́t have!!
I'm very sorry you have not received a response from Clements. Please email us at Communications@Confused.com with your full name, date of birth, postcode and telephone number and we will arrange for someone at Clements to contact you about this.
Thank you for your patience.
